Battles Gentian Violet Spray 240ml – non-aerosol spray bottle.

A non-aerosol purple spray for treating minor wounds on all birds and animals. Containing 0.5% Gentian Violet.

Gentian is a natural antiseptic used for generations when treating animals and birds with skin abrasions or wounds. Also helps to stop feather pecking by covering bare skin and wounds by making them purple and therefore less inviting.

Very useful for other infections like Bumblefoot. This is when damage to the bottom of the feet causes an abscess and will make the bird lame, just spray the feet to help get rid of the infection.

Tip: As this liquid turns everything it touches purple, we would suggest using long-sleeved Rubber Gloves or Disposable LateGloves. Keep away from children.
